Microbial Protein

Based on extensive research, the mode of action of Amaferm® -> has been shown to increase the rate of digestion, leading to more microbial protein being produced, and ultimately causing a greater flow of microbial protein to the small intestine.

What is the value of Amaferm in terms of equivalent protein supplementation? The production of microbial crude protein has been shown to be linked to the energy density of the diet.  Based on extensive research, Amaferm has been shown to increase the rate of digestion, and the energy density of the diet is improved.  Amaferm has been shown to result in an average of 34% increase in microbial crude protein resulting in 100-400 additional grams of microbial protein across these trials.  Ruminant animals ultimately see a greater flow of high quality microbial protein to the small intestine.
